Wheel thrown white stoneware vase 7" high, 6" wide.
The pot handmade, wheel thrown. Then black liquid clay (slip) is painted on the surface, then carved back to reveal the white wave design. It is fired once then glazed with opal colored transparent glaze that turns the black clay sea blue during the second firing.
Care and Safety
The clay and glazes are lead-free and food safe.
All pieces are dishwasher, microwave and overn safe. Do not put directly on flame or stove.
Each piece is unique and may have varriation in color or dips of the glaze that add to it's beauty.
